Khosrow I, also known as Anushirvan the Just, was one of the most famous rulers of the Sasanian Empire and reigned from 531 to 579. He was the son of Kavad I and became known for strengthening the administration, military, and economic systems of the empire. During his rule, he introduced tax and government reforms, improved the organization of the army, and supported learning and philosophy. His court became an important center of culture and scholarship, especially in the city of Ctesiphon. Khosrow I also fought several wars with the Byzantine Empire while expanding and stabilizing his empire.
