Omid Farokhzad: From Tehran to the Edge of Nanomedicine

A decade later, his efforts culminated in the establishment of the Center for Nanomedicine at Harvard Medical School. This center broadened the scope of his work by creating a formal institution where researchers could pursue translational applications of nanotechnology. Under his leadership, the center encouraged collaboration between academic laboratories and clinical departments to transform conceptual discoveries into real medical technologies.
