Firoozi completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering at the Iran University of Science and Technology, one of the nation’s most prestigious technical institutions. In 2010, driven by a desire to expand her scientific horizons, she moved to Brisbane, Australia, to pursue her PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Queensland. Her years of doctoral research marked a turning point, leading her toward pioneering innovations that would later revolutionize oil and gas recovery processes.
