4. Takeda Shingen
Known as the “Tiger of Kai,” Shingen dominated Japan’s Sengoku era with 18 battles to his name. His duels with Uesugi Kenshin remain legendary, particularly the Battles of Kawanakajima, where tactical maneuvers and psychological warfare were on full display.
