Almost every genre of photography can have editorial value or use, such as fashion photography used in major magazines like
Cosmopolitan,
Elle,
Vogue,
Glamour, etc., or fashion photography used in a newspaper’s fashion section. It’s not uncommon to find fashion editorial sections in magazines of other audiences such as an “in-flight” airline magazine and some photographers look at fashion photography as part of photojournalism especially when it comes to fashion editorial pieces and the same is said about sports photography when it’s used for publications.
